a Kentucky derby winner, or a horse with his DIRT record ran in Chicago ?

(after he won the derby),  I can't recall, WAR EMBLEM ran here but before he ran in the derby.

He ran in it, but he must have looked horrible, because I didn't even consider him and have since forgotten that he ran here in the BC.

Wow.

/I had Medaglia d'Oro, dammit. Screw you, Volponi .

/I'm not bitter, though.

And guess who gave Volponi as the possible winner?

Dr. Roman, dosage expert.

That and that the horse was a long shot is the only reason I had him.

There were two women sitting in my box seats that had him. I asked "Did you handicap it or did you just bet the longest shot on the board?" They both said "Longest shot on the board"

Hahahahaha!

BG, if you would have showed up in the box seats, you would have had him, maybe.

/They said they STILL didn't win money on the day, so at least I had them on that point.

I DON'T THINK WAR EMBLEM WAS THE LONGEST SHOT ON THE BOARD BUT THERE WAS NO WAY ANYONE WITH AN OUNCE OF BRAINS COULD HAVE PLAYED HIM ON THAT DAY.

I was referring to Volponi - the longest shot on the board at 43.50 to 1.

I had Medaglia d'Oro at 5/2, and I thought it was a good bet.

Vindication was the horse that made my day, though.
