William Downs is the son of Bill Downs and the grandson of Bud Downs.
Bill Downs was the one who used to drive and train Colonel Sky Walker
though Bud was always there taking care of the Colonel.
William has a couple of his own and drives and trains here in Illinois,
at the fairs and in Indiana.
yes he is the son of Bill Downs and it haunts him everyday of his life because no-one wants to give him a chance. He is nothing like his dad. billy Jr. a by far a better man than his dad ever was. Jr. has always worked hard and showed excellent horsemanship.Jr. needs a break Jr. deserves a chance even though his dad is bill downs but you must remember who his grandfather was. one of the most awesome person you could have ever met and an outstanding horsemen. if you needed to know anything about a horse he could tell you . So you see Jr. has good background more than bad. He deserves a chance to make a difference. He is like any other horsemen trying to make ends meat and provide for his family, he has a beautiful wife of 13 years a 2 great kids. Lets see him succeed.
