Every time I try to outdo the cover of the program... my show parlay was Fox Valley Shyboy, Sagebrush, Dude Ranch, JJ's Ironman, and Odds On Wally.  Does anyone know how I did ?   LOL TC

Filmore, the 1st 2 in the parlay were driven with either neolithic incompetance or apathy, Dude Ranch may not have enjoyed the 40-50 K air, JJ's Ironman didn't like the Crete air (1st up), and Odds On Wally didn't get the FVT Miss Steubing Kit from Killer-boy.  Once again, that's why we call it FORM REVERSAL DOWNS !  TC

TC, serious question.
Do you consistently make show parlays?
Tell me about it.
I'm not knocking it, I just haven't made a show bet in a long, long time.

No, but when I saw Casimir Camotion off stride behind the gate, I made a decent show bet for the remainder of the voucher on a horse to show... maybe that's why I thought the pull by Sagebrush was a dumb move for the so-called greatest driver in Chicagoland.  Bottom line is when you dance with the devil, you pay the piper and your voucher go bye-bye.  I did bet with the book on perfect Drift (Giddy up) to show in the BC yesterday.  Thanks for the $7.80 -even though the fav. won.  TC

I wish I'd bet Trytanic to show Wed. at INDY.  He ran 2nd at 12/1 and returned $9.80 to place and $20.40 to show (prices OK).  With Jay Cross in the bike, I'd probably have asked for a second bowl of Chicken Velvet Soup in the dining room though.  LOL TC

Tonight's show parlay is :
                                   1) Speedy Charm - going from NW 1/2 to a NW
                                        3/11 claimer.
                                    2) Talking to Angels - has hot Oosting and 3
horses inside him are crippled.  Should reach.
                                    3) Blame It on Boogie - Ran 3rd two back at
                                        35/1.  May repeat that effort.
                                    4)  Crystal Trip - 10-hole scmend-hole !
                                    5)  Freakzilla - Boom Boom hits the ticket in
the nightcap. (want to use Taelon Terror -
driver fits, horse doesn't - Good Luck Jr. !

The show parlay is just so people won't bellyache, IMO.  An amazing handicapper hits at 20% -- and the "grandstand folk" don't have the patience for that.

Oh, but let's not forget, however, that TK appears to not be able to pick winners.  I make it a habit to toss the "lock of the night" -- and it's quite profitable.

Best,
EW

Gee, how did we do ?  Speedy Charm - a well beaten 5th.  He and Hasty B Skipalond too far back to a hot pace, a pace where the winner went :54 to the half, came home in 1:00 2/5 ?  Classic bottom out of a field or a tape to be forwarded to the inept IRB ?
Talkin to Angels gets sent sideways by Singin Irene; the INQ goes up but no DQ- 4th.
Blame It On Boogie -dead last on a break - ouch.
Crystal Trip - nice win and Mr. reliable -Oosting. $3.60 to show.
Freakzilla - see Blame it on Boogie file -LOL.  I hope Brent isn't mad at me- LOL.  All in all pathetic results I'd say.  Maybe trainers can give me cash NOT to include them in any touting whatsoever.  TC

Thursday's "magic show" parlay, designed to make your money disappear, is sponsored by Liquid Paper -#1 in the trade, just like Barn To Wire.  Here we go :

                        1) Caught on Tape - (note: not the Todd Warren story)
has the outside, but rats occupy 1-2-3-4 and he's
                            been 3rd his last two.
                         2) Victory Lane -the trotter will run 3rd, because pilot
isn't familiar with Bal's "victory lane" - LOL.
                         3)  Mr. Stiffy - with Tony gone, and this steed on
Viagra making him"stiffy" LOL, even the salad tosser
                                will snag 3rd.
                         4)  Carcano - Boom Boom fires the gun that killed
                                Kennedy.  No sweat.
                         5) Henry Benny Hosh - this equine yo-yo is due to
end up with a high finish after on then off the
board jaunts.  Poster child of Form Reversal Downs.

Good Luck with the selections, win money, and don't forget to tell rollinsmolin and Deano to buckle up when within 10 miles of Balmoral.  TC
