SAT 20 RACES TOTAL PURSES 110,000  6 FULLFIELDS

SUN 10 RACES TOTAL PURSES  47,200   3 FULL FIELDS

TUE 10 RACES TOTAL PURSES  50,100   1 FULL FIELD

WED 10 RACES TOTAL PURSES 50,900   2 FULL FIELDS

IT WILL PROBABLY GET BETTER WITH THE NEW CONTRACT IN PLACE

A HAPPY OWNER WHO IS RACING ELSEWHERE

THE NEXT STEP FOR MANAGEMENT WILL BE TO RAISE PURSES EVER SO SLIGHTLY,DUE TO A SURPLUS IN THE PURSE ACCOUNT, TO LURE SOME PEOPLE TO RACE

They have a guy dressed in a " tuxedo " holding the horses in the winners circle at Cal Expo.

In Chicago it looks like they have a " Pathetic " homeless person holding the horses in the winners circle. How " Pathetic " has Chicago harness racing become?

Since there aren't a lot of good horses left, wouldn't it be better to make one of the Saturday cards a good card and the other a lesser card.  Trying to add sprinkles of quality to both just dilutes bith.

If they took a vote of the horsemen whether to Race Saturday Afternoon, or wait until the Wise folk on BTW were satisfied how do you think that vote would come out?

Don't guess, the horsemen voted at the entry box.

If they did take a vote Racing on Friday night would have won on a write-in landslide

Cumonwire,

You should help get the two side together and get something going in Springfield.
You actually make sense.

Burton,

There are many more than two sides.  That is one of the problems.
