Ever see a stable name that just must have a story behind it.
No More Yearlings Stable is one I come across.
There must be a story there.
How many yearlings to you have before you say no more?
Any one else know of some others.

I am just an old "Hoss" trainer, that has been raced hard and put away wet.

I am the founder of the "No More Yearlings Stable" . It was true. Last yearling I ever bought, who just happened to be by far my best was raced under that name. It's not that I had many yearlings...just that I didn't plan to buy any more.

I remember Stan Bergstein, on a "Racing From The Meadowlands" TV show, reacting much the same way as you. When I ran into him a couple of weeks later at Yonkers when the horse was racing there, I told him just what I told you now. It was in 1992, and I stuck by it...never bought another yearling.

Has the stable name been reactivated? Since I haven't used it for years, another person could have picked it up and taken over the name.

Is Triple T three teachers from PA? I could swear I know one of the guys who races under that name, and he's from NY. In fact, he used to be my partner on a horse...unless I have the name confused with another similar one.
