DRF/NTRA NATIONAL HANDICAPPING CHAMPIONSHIP TO MOVE TO RED ROCK CASINO, RESORT AND SPA IN 2008;

PRIZE MONEY NEAR $1 MILLION

The National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA) announced today that it had reached a multi-year agreement with Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa in Las Vegas to host the Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship (NHC) starting in January 2008. Red Rock Resort will also now be designated as the Official Hotel of the NTRA. The 2008 NHC will be held at Red Rock on January 25-26, 2008. The NHC’s first three editions were held at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, and the last five were staged at Bally’s Las Vegas.

Next January’s National Handicapping Championship will be the richest in the event’s nine-year history, offering estimated total prize money of a record $900,000, up from the $837,000 from last January’s event.

“We are delighted to have the beautiful Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa as the new home of the National Handicapping Championship,” said Keith Chamblin, senior vice president of communications and industry relations for the NTRA. “Red Rock was extremely enthusiastic about bringing the event to its property, and we are confident that next January’s event, with its estimated total prize money of $900,000, will be the best ever.”

“I am thrilled to be working with the NTRA and Daily Racing Form on this project,” said Art Manteris, vice president of race and sports operations for Station Casinos, Inc. “I have much respect for both organizations and look forward to hosting them at Red Rock, which is one of our fabulous new race books.”

The Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship is the most important tournament of the year for horseplayers and is the culmination of a year-long series of NTRA-sanctioned local tournaments conducted by racetracks, casino racebooks, off-track betting facilities and horse racing and handicapping Web sites, each of which sends its top three qualifiers to the national finals. This year, more than 100,000 people are expected to attempt to qualify for the 2008 NHC at Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa in Las Vegas.

Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa opened in April 2006 and is the first billion-dollar resort to be built off the Las Vegas Strip. The resort, operated by Station Casinos, Inc. (NYSE: STN), is considered the most lavish off-Strip casino ever built in Las Vegas. Inspired by the natural beauty of the neighboring Red Rock mountains and the elegant desert oasis resorts of the mid-20th century, the property is a return to classic Las Vegas, reinterpreted for the 21st century with a contemporary design and the latest amenities, comforts and technology. It features more than 800 guest rooms and suites, a full complement of gaming offerings and an array of nightlife options, including CHERRY nightclub; a 16-screen movie theatre; 10 restaurants; a 25,000-square-foot, full-service spa, Red Rock Lanes, a 72-lane bowling venue and a unique adventure spa program that lets visitors take part in a wide variety of local nature activities.

Daily Racing Form, "America's Turf Authority Since 1894," for Thoroughbred racing horseplayers and professionals throughout North America, is the only daily national newspaper in the U.S. dedicated solely to the coverage of a single sport. Purchased in August 1998 by a group led by Steven Crist, chairman and publisher of the Form, Daily Racing Form provides the most comprehensive news and information about horseracing in the world, printing up to 31 separate editions across the U.S. and Canada, as well its online version at www.drf.com. Daily Racing Form's Formulator software, the most sophisticated handicapping software ever developed, gives DRF online subscribers unprecedented levels of flexibility, versatility and convenience in customizing and manipulating the newspaper's famous past performances on racehorses.

The NTRA is a broad-based coalition of horse racing interests consisting of leading thoroughbred racetracks, owners, breeders, trainers and affiliated horse racing associations, charged with increasing the popularity of horse racing and improving economic conditions for industry participants. The NTRA has offices in Lexington, Ky., and New York City. NTRA press releases appear on the NTRA web site, NTRA.com.
