do i doubt pletcher can train horses?no. but some of you people seem to be annointing this guy as the almighty of the horse racing world. before doing so i wonder how many of you actually knew and realized he was suspended recently for blocking which can greatly affect a horses performance. i dont understand why guys like this get all the press etc, it should go to guys like the giant killer whos been getting it done for how long now? long be4 alotta the shiat thats in use now in the game was around

He has certainly earned the right to be called a great trainer, but arguably he has better stock to work with than any other trainer in the world folks.  Give that stock to a local trainer like Mike Dini and he will look like one of the best trainers in the world also!!!!

IMO Allen Jerkins is one of the all time greats.  As for Mike Dini he could do even better if he learned to stay a way from the window a little more.

Yeah, he's good. He's got a huge stable and it's very successful. That takes talent and he's got it, the same as some others in his league.
