Cat was my "first call" driver for many years, and as a result I think I have more pictures of him lying around the house than I do  of my son.  Wink

Congratulations on having a "career year" at an age when other drivers' skills are declining.

Paul,

Cat drove a lot for me when I was out in Jersey with B.P.'s horses. What a nice guy, very much a gentleman and not hard to look at either   Roll Eyes

Why the Cat Man will not duplicate 2005

   1. Rucker -- positives means less wins
   2. He looks real tired and needs a brake
   3. Tony Morgan will crush him in wins with a full year at Dover

Cats a whore, the guy runs from Freehold to Big  M everyday. He even appears at Mont an Dover on off days. Does the old man have a family?

As if Morgan wasn't running around. After he moved his base of operations to Dover, he still came back to Chicago to race every day there wasn't racing at Dover. I'd also like to remind you that Chicago races 7 nights a week, 52 weeks year. Dover runs 15 races a night, 6 nights a week. Freehold and the Meadowlands race 4 or 5 times a week each. Freehold is closed for 2 1/2 months in the summer, and the Meadowlands is closed, or has Thoroughbred racing, for 3 months a year.

If you look at the numbers, Manzi had 100 or so more drives than Morgan did, and won 26 more...that's about 2 additional drives per week over the year.

He has quite a nice family...a wife and 3 children. So far Morgan hasn't moved his family to Delaware, has he. So who's the guy who doesn't see his family?

Most of all, now that he's won his first national driving title, the motivation will be gone.

The "cat man" is the hardest working dirver in the business; he drives at freehold during the day, the big m and night, dover on sundays and mondays, pocono on big days, the red mile during big race meets.  !!
Keep it going Cat.
