Mike Antoniades who I have always respected as a good capper and a good man has a race named in honor for our good friend Eric Vigon a true good person that passed away too young . The 4th is race is a farewell tribute to a devoted horseplayer and its great to see that a player like Eric will have one more winner at the track in his honor . It also shows that horse racing brings many people together that make lifelong friends . Mike A is a true class act for getting a race named for his best friend . I will be thinking about all the great memories I have of Eric tonight , and they were all good and humorous moments in my life . Eric I know you'll be watching and if you've met the horse God by now tell him to give an old horseplayer a break .
