THE PLANE THAT LANDED ON NORTHWEST HIGHWAY LAST NIGHT, WAS THAT OUR BUDDY AT THE TRACK SCOTT MC MANNIS WITH THE NEAR MISS OF THE PLANE LANDING? I HOPE HE GET'S A DAY OR TWO OFF JUST SO HE CAN THINK ABOUT  HOW LUCKY HE WAS.  horse shoe

Wow!  Clipped the neutral power line close to where they live.  Plane ended up all the way down at Brandt's restaurant.  The food is very good there, but I never expected anyone to fly directly to the place!

Yipes!  Janine just put AP's Graham Ross's interview with Scott on the home page news area.  Plane was attemping to land behind him on the road!  I didn't get to the track this past week to have a chance to talk to him.  Whooa.  That had to be a hellavua sight in his rearview mirror.   Shocked

The version of the story I heard from Wendy on Saturday was far more colorful and exciting, starting with, "Do you know you're talking to someone who was almost a widow?" I guess the plane was really REALLY close to Scott's car.
