I think it would be interesting if the best driver in your mind drove the the best horse you ever seen race . I think Bret Hanover was the best horse that I've ever seen race . I think John Campbell would have been my choice to drive . I wish they had one of those computer match ups like they did with boxing for horse racing ! I think it would be interesting to see what the computer thinks by driver and horse stats who would be the best duo . Dan Patch make the driver Herve Filion ! Cam Fella getting up with Dave Magee ! Give me some match ups . RTP

Greyhound with Mike LaChance or John Campbell would have been awesome. Not to take anything away from Sep he did a good job obvisouly but Greyhound was by far a freak for his time.

The clear choice for the horse is GOLDSMITH MAID.She win 350 heats AND trotted about 20 WORLD RECORD miles (mostly breaking her own record) including 5 WORLD RECORDS her last year when she was 21.Pullin that Budd Doble!! What she would a been with a REAL reinsman! Maybe Pop Geers?

See Im a younger guy here. So my perfect matchup I think I got to see. Red Bow Tie and Luc Oulette. (sp Sorry)Talk about a horse and a driver made for each other!!! J.C gave up the drive and they went to luc and the rest was history.

As good as he was, how much better might Malabar Man have been with a professional driver like Campbell rather than the amateur who drove him?

No offense Pop:Just a fact check. "Only" 7 world records.5 at age 17. 350 winning heats is correct. And many races against the clock.

any other driver on niatross would be unholy. clint galbraith drove him perfectly. he lost 2 races! a break in the meds pace elims and when he went over the hubrail at saratoga. the greatest pacer of all time and clint did a hell of a job caring for him. my real concern is the lack of progeny from the niatross line. i guess the early demise of nihilator was meant to be.

How about Billy Jean Corbit with Pat Boone. For real though: Cam Fella with O'Donnel Niatross with Campbell Googoogaagaa with Sears - there's still time for this!!! Somebeachsomewhere with Pierce (this would eliminate the possibility of Pierce beating him) Direct Scooter with Lachance

Western Hanover with anyone but Fahy. Campbell would have fit him nicely.
