Hi,
I'm new to this board, so I guess by trial and error I will have to sift through, but I am looking for the best Handicapper in the Chicago area. I'm ready to bankroll a long term "roll". Money is not an issue; knowledge is...
I want the best.... any thoughts? I'm looking for my Consigliori of the wheels...
The DogFather thanks you!

Sorry, I don't know who's the best, but I am getting emails about specific people. I have lots of money and no knowledge. I do know that I don't need you. Thanks anyway.

You need four things and not in this particular order:

1) Get a good trainer who is honest and have the highest amount of integrity.

2) Have him claim a $ 15M to 20M claimer.  Give the trainer a bonus of additional 10% 20% financial interest in the horse. This is called a spiff.  The trainer doesn't own the horse but you are giving him incentives.  The trainer should range in age between 25 to 40 years old.  If you are financially successful, you buy another horse in 6-12 months.

3) If you have the time, help him in the barn.

4)  Have the trainer teach you.

The wise old bookmaker says NEVER BET ON ANYTHING THAT YOU DON'T HAVE A HAND IN CONTROLLING THE OUTCOME.

Why would the best handicapper need your money ?If he's any good he has his own bank.

          Dog Father ,

If your serious about learning the game I will introduce you to someone who knows the game and could teach how to bet your cash by yourself in a short amount of time , you just need a short crash course on what to look for while handicapping and I'm sure you could probably then evaluate if the game is for you , and if you have the ability to win !
