Paquito's  16295 Biscayne Blvd. Miami Fl

is a place you might want to try.  Close to the track, too.

Full bar great mex and sw cuisine. Cost ya about $20 pp less or more.

Mark

If you are asking about eating AT Calder my recommendation is to go as high as possible on the clubhouse side (4th?). I saw a very nice restaurant there with food that looked decent. The local friend I was with swore by it. Anywhere else below was "Okay, but nothing special". And avoid that "Cuban sandwich" on the outside apron patio like the plague. Sad

Here's a idea. You might want to scuba dive in a pond, river,or lake and try to spear some fresh fish. I'm hoping some oversized hungry Gator spots you and your lunch.

John, I am glad that you have moved beyond the relm of handicapping the horses to South Florida Culinary/activities director!  Your posts always make me laugh and your comments on the public handicapper are priceless.  I would pay to see you and Terry go 10 rounds in the steal cage!  Now offer that up and you could make enough cash to retire.

P.S Terry, thanks for the 4th floor tip.  John, please type slower so that you make less mistakes

Whatever you do do not eat the Cuban sandwich, I almost threw up right in front of the counter. I like Calder, wish they would run there until GP was completed. Arlington didn't open until it was done and I think everyone enjoyed the surprise all at once, not in stages.
Happy holidays all.
