What will the end of 2005 bring (hint 2 weeks left)?

Will there be any outside variables possibly affecting the 2006 contract negotiations this week and next week?

Will the contract for 2006 be signed next Wednesday, December 28?

If no contract is in place for Jan 1 (after the long weekend), who will be entering 'THE BOX'?
