Will Hawthorne run today

Has anyone heard if Hawthorne will race today. Between the snow and the jocks I sure would like to know before I trek out there.

Just spoke to my trainer and he reports that there's very little snow at Hawthorne.  Looks likely but there's more than 2 hours until post time.

It is one of those Skilling scares.  He scares everyone and then nothing happens.  I've heard there is only going to be an inch near the city.  They will run unless the jockeys don't want to.

This evening there may be more.  Not during the day.   Just in case they don't run, I've been looking at my west coast form with GG and my east coast form with The Big A.

I didn't think it snowed in hell.  Regardless NWS cancelled all snow advisories as of noon CST today.

Since when does Chicago have the same exact same forecast/weather as Galena? The whole Hawthorne card was run today
without incident - except for the 10 horse losing the jockey in the 6th race.

It very rarely does at the same time. But in general Chicago gets the same weather that is west of us, some hours later. Like how tornadoes that hit Rockford first then come to Plainfield, and like that. Looks as though this storm went a little north to Wisconsin, though.

robertv here is even more of a mindblower for you. In general, Chicago gets the same weather that Montana had, only two days later! Is that weird, or what?

There is lake effect snow, that doesn't come from Montana.  Then there's the shit load we have here, 8 inches and counting.  Don't anyone get jealous now.
