I keep my losers and old programs in a big refridgerater box in the garage. It is 7/8 full! The mice love to nest in it. It is equivalent to a 40 story mouse aparatment building. The IRS auditer takes one look at the mouse high rise nest and OKs every thing I claimed. That is using your noggin not like you amatuers.

I have to agree with swoodall , I save my old programs and tickets too.
Not only does it help in an audit, if someone does need help coming up with losing tickets
for tax purposes you look like hero!

I can`t imagine who would be dumb enough to cash a signer for dinner or just because you`re a nice guy JMO!

I also go back and check for things I may have missed in handicapping a race.

MG. It is OK. The garage is big cardboard box also. Each year when it gets to smelly I put one of the orange "TRASH" stickers from the office on it and the City comes by and takes it all away. Then I begin over with new cardboard boxes. If the IRS asks where are the old losers and programs I say "Mice ate them". Works every time.

zulu, that is fair enough. I do not keep tickets to refer to, but I can see where it might be helpful for some and not all. thank god we have the internet and able to watch replays of races and see charts.
