1939 Hambletonian

I'm hoping for some help identifying the people in these photo's.

I do realize that most of us were not born in 1939.

Each year in the Hambletonian issue of the Harness Horse there was a photo
insert that was printed on paper similar to drawing paper (as opposed to the
glossy paper used year-around.) In the Aug 16, 1939 issue the insert
contained fifty-eight photo's.

 Two pages did not contain any text identifying the photo's occupants. Thus,
these twelve images.

 In the event that your able to identify anybody please respond either
privately or to the group.
