Can someone tell me why the Johnston's don't offer the live video feed for the Balmoral and Maywood races on their website?

Tracks like the Meadowlands, Woodbine, Hawthorne, Dover, Northfield, The Meadows, Cal Expo and others offer the live video feed. The only way to see Balmoral or Maywood is to sign up for one of those on-line horse betting services such as xpressbet or the racingchannel ect.

I'm starting to think that the Johnson's have some sort of investment in these on-line betting services and in order to see the live feed from Balmoral and Maywood you must become a member. There was a time that they did offer the live feed from their website but that all changed when these on-line services started to pop up. That's why I feel that the Johnson's must have a stake in these services. They must also make money from race replays.com.

One more question. I don't know what to do about handicapping the Balmoral card now with all this stuff going on with the gout medication and cocaine positives. How do I know if the horses will race according to their lines in the program. What would some of you suggest I do when looking at these races? Or, should I forget about betting Chicago races for now and just bet the Big M?

I just bet the BigM unless I see some angle at Balmoral where I can cash a nice ticket.  Forget Maywood Park altogether

Dan you are right again. Common sense is a blessing and many in the sport are totally lacking. You would think that the condition harness racing is in that they would do everything they can to get their product out there. Instead they turn there video over to these vulchers who want you to pay for it. Listen up track mangment every where. There are many bettors who work the day shift and stop at the OTBs to make bets on night racing. They only bet the tracks they can watch on their computors that don't charge. It is very inexpensive to provide a link on your website for video. By the way things look, Chicago needs every bet they can get. The same for Michigan.

they never offered a live feed  the only way to pick it up was through Hawthorne but that was stopped there  worries are that people wont come to the track or the OTB and they will lose money it doesn't make sense but when do they ever

The state is so far behind times they don't have phone betting. If Balmoral and Maywood would offer signal .They would just be forcing the people that view it to look for a place to bet offshore or scam betting services who are are as bad as the Johnston s and his thieves.
