Good, I hope he gets his ass kicked around good out there. He's another cheater. He's probably already doing business.

Like I stated before, Tony is the best only WHEN Tony wants to be the best.
Anyone who bets this guy at less than 4-1 odds over a long period of time will
lose their ass.   Bet him when he is between 4-1 and 24-1 and you will make
money over a period of time with him.

You guys make it sound like the guy can win when ever he wants too.
He's a good driver.
He's not that good.

Good enough to get to drive for most of the top trainers at almost any of the US tracks if he wants to.

Just because the horses he drive got beat, does not mean he had a losing night!.I did notice that it did not take long for him to hook up with Artie Brewer out there.

I can't believe you are going to get on Morgan for having an 0 for night.  How many nights has he put up 5+ so far.  He already has the double tonight.  He is human, he isn't going to win 5 every night.  He's still a great driver, and I would still bet him.

Ahh, so when Morgan's horse loses it has to be that his horse wasn't good enough..
gotcha

Until Morgan drives at the Big M. and wins there I don't won't to hear about how many he wins at Dover.

Nance,

He won 12 races Saturday and Sunday.
Just so you know!

I will tell you this.  Even though I never cared for Morgan's driving "games" in Chicago,
I'll be the 1st one to tell someone they made a wise business decision in getting out
of Illinois racing. Tony, you made the right move and it's already paying off handsomely.

Monday night 12/12/05 total purses at Maywood Park $45,000
Monday night 12/12/05 total purses at Dover Downs   $500,000.

Congratulations Tony

Congratulations Tony

To be fair, Monday's purses at Dover include a $260,000 Matron Stakes final, and Monday is when Dover runs its feature races of the week. A normal Monday at Dover is more akin to Saturday at Balmoral.

Obviously the purses at Dover are still higher than Chicago's, even on a fairer comparison of racing days, but not in the proportions you suggest.

Paul-
Absolutely--it's not a typical Monday night at Dover. However, people make their
own luck and by him previously making the decision to focus on Dover Downs and
becoming established there ahead of time, he is now able to take advantage of this Monday nights exceptional card there rather than be racing for 45K purses at Maywood.

You'll get no argument from me about Morgan making a good business decision by moving to Dover!
