SPORTSMAN’S PARK’S SUMMER SIMULCAST SEASON JULY 14-SEPT 6
TWO $5,000 HANDICAPPING CONTESTS, DOUBLE POINTS ON ARLINGTON PARK

Sportsman’s Park Race Track in Cicero, Illinois, will open its summer simulcast wagering season on Sunday, July 14. The season will extend through September 6. The track will be open 7-days-a-week, day and night, for full card wagering from tracks around the country, including Arlington Park.
Simulcast wagering fans at Sportsman’s will enjoy the air-conditioned comfort, Las Vegas sports book style individual seating, complimentary coffee every morning, cafeteria snack foods and Blue Plate special lunch and dinner. Thousands of table top and closed circuit TV monitors, and well as big screen projection TV’s, are located throughout the facility.
There will be DOUBLE POINTS issued for members of Sportsman’s Park’s On Track Rewards Players Club on all wagers made on-site on Arlington Park’s live thoroughbred races. Points may be redeemed for cash and merchandise at the Customer Service Center, main floor grandstand. Sign up and membership are FREE.
Special promotions during the season include DOUBLE POINTS on all Del Mar and Saratoga races during the "Classic Weekend" of August 24 and 25 which will include the Travers Stakes at Saratoga on Aug. 24 and the Pacific Classic at Del Mar on Aug. 25. There will be TWO Handicapping Contests held featuring $10,000 in cash prizes. The first qualifying dates are set for Sunday July 21 and Sunday July 28 for the $5,000 finals on Aug. 4. The second qualifying dates are set for Sunday August 18 and Sunday August 25 for the $5,000 finals on Sept. 1.
EVERY Friday during Sportsman’s Park’s summer simulcast season will be "Dollar Day Fan Appreciation Friday". Fans will be invited to purchase $1.00 Beer, $1.00 Hot Dogs, and $1.00 soda pop throughout the day.
Fridays will also feature a "SURF & TURF BBQ" from 3 pm until 7 pm.
Sportsman’s Park will offer EXCLUSIVE simulcast signals not available anywhere else during its summer season. As many as seven EXTRA tracks will be available for simulcast bettors to wager on every Saturday and Sunday, including Philadelphia Park, Delaware Park, Thistledown, River Downs, Canterbury, and Rockingham Park.
Members of Sportsman’s Park’s On Track rewards Players Club are reminded that if they made a wager on Kentucky Derby Day Saturday, May 4, at Sportsman’s and used their player’s club card they received 1,000 Bonus Points for Illinois Derby winner War Emblem’s victory in the "Run For The Roses".
