equineline.com ENHANCED WITH INFORMATION FROM BRAZIL

Expanding its capacity to provide the most comprehensive and timely statistics on which to base breeding- and sales-related decisions, The Jockey Club Information Systems, Inc. (TJCIS) today announced the integration of detailed breeding and racing information from Brazil into its equineline.com on-line service.

"Today's Thoroughbred world knows few geographic boundaries which is why The Jockey Club's Data Management team has been pursuing data exchange arrangements with a number of countries so aggressively," said TJCIS chairman and CEO, Carl Hamilton. "In order to serve the information needs of all of our constituents, obtaining a complete and accurate account of the breeding and racing activity in Brazil was a must.

"Brazil often produces runners which impact racing here in the U.S. and serves as a destination for North American shuttle stallions as well," he added. "The inclusion of Brazil will make international sire lists even more comprehensive and add additional value to the catalogue style pedigrees and race records available to our equineline.com Portfolio Service and equineline Report customers."

In addition to Brazil, equineline.com includes detailed racing and breeding information from North America, Argentina, Australia, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan and the United Arab Emirates.

equineline.com is a comprehensive information network for owners, breeders, trainers and farms. In addition to being the premier on-line service for pedigrees, produce records and other reports, equineline.com includes a Portfolio Service which allows industry professionals to track and maintain real-time updated information on their horses; and a Trainer Program which streamlines and, in many cases, automates the business-related details associated with training horses, including billing, accounts receivable, charting and owner communication. TJCIS reinvests all profits in the Thoroughbred industry.
