Hawthorne to Honor Fires with Bobble Head on Saturday

This Saturday, Hawthorne will honor legendary jockey Earlie Fires with a bobble head doll. A Hall of Fame rider, and mainstay on the Chicago circuit, Fires is second on the all-time riding leaders in Hawthorne history and has won over 6,000 races in his storied career.

The bobble head dolls will be given to the first 3,000 fans with paid admission on Saturday as Fires is featured in the familiar silks of Leonard Lavin.
