CADMAN LIGHTS THEM UP

Jockey Zoe Cadman won two on Sunday, scoring both halves of the late Daily Double. She took the eighth with Tara Jean ($18.00) and came back with Sterna ($82.80). The Daily Double paid $433.00. She also had a second and two thirds to complete a great day.

JANKS WINS A PAIR

Trainer Christine Janks won two Sunday. Her Stealing Thunder ($4.60) won the fourth and Tara Jean ($18.00) took the eighth.

GRASS RACING IN DECEMBER?

Hawthorne Race Course has scheduled a turf event for Wednesday, December 4. A full field of 10 entered for the race.

FREE HANDICAPPING CONTEST

The December version of Hawthorne's free handicapping contest starts this Saturday. It takes two winners to qualify. Qualifiers will be held the next three Saturdays with the finals to take place on December 28. Besides weekly prizes, there are $2,500 in prizes up for grabs, including a $1,000 first prize.
