BAIRD STRIKES THREE TIMES, MEIER TAKES TWO

Unlike Saturday, trainer victories on Sunday were spread pretty evenly. Jere R. Smith Sr. was the only conditioner scoring with more than one runner. He won the first with Nosetothe ($6.40) and the fifth with Skirting The Issue ($3.40).

Jockey E.T. Baird had a riding triple Sunday. He took the first with Nosetothe ($6.40), the third with Supra ($8.80), and the ninth with Silver Award ($12.80).

Randy Meier scored twice on Sunday. He won the fifth with Skirting The Issue ($3.40) and the eighth with Miss Kalena ($42.80).
