LAVIOLETTE STILL ON TOP

Jockey Shane Laviolette extended his lead in the race for top jock with a pair of wins on Monday's card. Laviolette, who won Hawthorne's 2001 fall riding title, goes into the final day of racing with 20 victories, three more than Alfredo Juarez Jr. and Jesse Campbell who are tied for second with 17.

MICHELE BOYCE BOOKENDS MONDAY'S CARD

Trainer Michelle Boyce won the first and the last races on Monday. Her unbeaten 3-year-old filly, Pass The Pepper ($5.00), extended her streak to three and Ellie's Rose ($10.40), making her first start of the year, was the ridden out winner of the nightcap.
