SIR BEAR SET TO ARRIVE

Venerable Sir Bear, the nine-year-old scheduled to race in Saturday's Grade 2 Hawthorne Gold Cup is due to arrive at Hawthorne Tuesday morning.

BAIRD IN THE WINNER'S CIRCLE

E. T. Baird found his way to the winner's circle twice on Saturday. He was aboard Reconnaissance ($14.40) in the second and aboard Besttobeabachelor ($8.60) in the ninth.

JUAREZ WINS TWO

Jockey Alfredo Juarez Jr. won two races on Saturday's card. He took the fifth with Hurricane Merle ($7.00) and the sixth with Pass The Pepper ($6.20).
