Ramsey has been back working horses. Hopefully we'll see him back in a race before too long. TALK ABOUT COMEBACKS!! Jockey Duane Salvino, who hasn't raced on the Chicagoland circuit in about 17 years, didn't miss a beat in his return. The 38-year-old Salvino, a member of one of the most prominent families in Chicagoland racing, won with his lone mount on Sunday's card. Peering Over, a 10-1 shot in the sixth race, finished a head in front. STERLING GOLDEN ON MONDAY Jockey Larry Sterling, fresh off leading riding honors at Sportsman's Park, Booted home four winners on Monday's card. He took the second with Who Fired Who ($4.80); the fourth with Take Down Johnny ($7.20); the seventh with St. Remy ($3.00); and the last with Fourth Floor ($11.40) EMIGH WITH TWO Jockey Chris Emigh had a riding double Monday. He won the third with That's Our Gold ($4.00) and the sixth with Unreal Dancer ($7.80). TRAINER LITTLE WITH TWO Trainer Pamela Little won with two of her four starters on Monday's card. She took the fourth with Take Down Johnny ($7.20) and the nitecap with Fourth floor ($11.40). ### |
