Nicole Stakes Nominees Work

Ioya Two, the logical favorite in Sunday's Nicole Stakes, had a solid four-furlong drill Tuesday. She covered the four panels in :50.3 breezing.

Twilite Tryst, also working on Tuesday, was easily the best of the day at six furlongs. The clockers got her at 1:14.00, almost a second and a half faster than any of the others working at that distance. Twilite Tryst will be making her first start since mid-December.

The true distance for Sunday's Nicole Stakes will be one and one sixteenth miles on the turf. With the installation of the new timing system, about distances are a thing of the past. The multitude of sensors will ensure accurate times at every distance, both on the turf and on the main track.
