BREEDERS' CUP COVERAGE ON ESPN CLASSIC BEGINS WEDNESDAY

LEXINGTON, Ky. - New episodes of "Thoroughbred Classics Presented by the NTRA" on ESPN Classic network, highlighting the Breeders' Cup Championship, will begin on Wednesday, October 18, at 3:00 p.m. ET. Wednesday's program, featuring great runnings of the Breeders' Cup Distaff, is the first of 12 programs showcasing Breeders' Cup Championship races.

In addition to the Distaff, the Breeders' Cup series will celebrate the history of the Breeders' Cup Turf and Classic. A schedule of air times for the "Thoroughbred Classics" appears below.

ESPN will also feature the city of Louisville, Kentucky, as part of the network's "The ESPN Classic Road Show." The "Road Show" spotlights American cities and the great sporting events and athletes from that region. The Louisville installment of "Road Show" will air on Nov. 3, the day before the Breeders' Cup Championship is to be held at Churchill Downs in Louisville.
