MANDATORY CLOSING DAY PAYOUTS INCLUDE $351,584 JACKPOT PICK 6 CARRYOVER
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (September 25, 2015) – Arlington International Racecourse’s 77-day live meet comes to an end Saturday, and Closing Day brings mandatory payouts in all pools, including a massive $351,584 carryover in the 20-cent Jackpot Pick 6.
The Pick 6 carryover has been building since Saturday, August 8, as there has not been one unique 6-of-6 ticket in the 25 racing days since. Saturday’s sequence spans the final six races of the card beginning with race five, scheduled to go off at 3:23 pm. Central time, and includes a pair of stakes races, the Teleprompter and the Melanie Frances. As the pool must be paid out, the entire carryover pool along with the additional monies bet into the Pick 6 on Saturday will be divided among players with the most winners on their tickets.
All other pools will also have mandatory payouts, including both Pick 4 wagers and the 50-cent Pick 5.
First post is 1:15 pm.
