WGN-TV’s Dina Bair to lead Runnin’ With The Horses 5k on June 8 to benefit fight against breast cancer
Horses won’t be the only thing running at Balmoral Park on Saturday, June 8 as runners from all over Chicagoland will take to the track in the 5th annual Runnin’ With The Horses 5k run.
The 5k course winds the historic grounds of Balmoral Park with the final mile ON THE TRACK finishing at the actual finish line alongside horses as they warm up on the outside of the track!
Awards are given to the each of the Top 3 Overall Male & Female finishers in addition to the Top 3 Male & Females in each division ranging from 15 & under to 60+. The event is timed using Chip Timing Technology from T&H timing.
100 percent of the event proceeds benefit the “One In A Million” campaign, Part of DWCC: a charity that raises and distributes money to organizations doing great work in the fight against breast cancer in the Chicagoland area.
