OFF-TRACK WAGERING RETURNS TO THE FOUNDRY

Trackside Off-Track Betting Re-Opens at Popular Aurora Location


AURORA, IL (April 29, 2013) – Wagering on the best Thoroughbred and harness racing from coast to coast returns to The Foundry in Aurora this week, when Trackside Off-Track Betting opens its latest location at the Western Suburbs’ the ultimate destination for anyone who loves sports. The Foundry is located at 55 Executive Drive in Aurora in the southwest corner of the Westfield Fox Valley Shopping Center (Phone number for The Foundry is 630-978-2088; Phone Number for Trackside Off-Track Betting is 630-423-4057).

In addition to housing Trackside Off-Track Betting, The Foundry is the area’s only sports bar that has 22 projection TVs and 140 flat screen TVs, as well as shuffleboard tables, pool tables, sand volleyball courts, Team Trivia challenges, salsa dancing lessons, a Tobacco Shop & Lounge and a fantastic menu, Mug Club, and drink specials.

Arlington added nearly 80 flat-screen HD monitors to the more than 140 sets that already resided at The Foundry. Wagering machines are located throughout the facility. Trackside is open day and night, seven days a week, 364 days a year to watch and wager on the best races from Arlington International Racecourse as well as all Illinois' Thoroughbred and harness tracks, plus races from across the country and around the world including Saturday’s Kentucky Derby from Churchill Downs.

This coming Saturday, May 4, customers can take advantage of drive-up wagering on the Kentucky Derby without even leaving their cars at a convenient drive-up wagering window set up at the front door of The Foundry.

Beginning in mid-May, The Foundry customers also will be able to wager on live and simulcast races using their smart phone or tablets with the addition of FastBet® Mobile wagering service.

Arlington International Racecourse – the Chicago area’s premier Thoroughbred racetrack located in Arlington Heights, Ill. – will run an 89-day meet in 2013 from Friday, May 3 through Sunday, Sept. 29.
