The attached bulletin was faxed to the Springfield offices of every member of the General Assembly this morning, and it will be emailed again later this afternoon.
$2.16 BILLION in new gross state product
$1.51 BILLION in new personal income
$1.41 BILLION in new gross revenue
$1.20 BILLION in new construction costs
$1.17 BILLION in one-time reconciliation payment
$377 MILLION in new licensing and fees
$195.3 MILLION in new annual tax revenue
New revenue from SB 1849 would provide the state with a substantial and sustainable source of funding for essential needs, including education, capital projects and safety-net programs.
