Balmoral first race has $14,170 superfecta carryover tonight

Sunday Pick 4 pool and Pick 5 pool guaranteed at $30,000

By Michael Antoniades, Chicago Racing Analyst
Available on the web at oddsonracing.com

Balmoral will offer an action-packed card with two guaranteed pools this Sunday with a bonus. The final superfecta on race 12 Saturday was not hit, so Balmoral Park will have a first race carryover of $14,170 with an estimated pool of $40,000 tonight. Post time for the first race is 7:10 Eastern, 6:10 Central and 4:10 Pacific.

There will be almost no rest for the players after the first race because the Pick Five also has a carryover. The fifty cent wager has a one day carryover of $6,286. Balmoral and the USTA will offer an instant guarantee of $30,000 on the Sunday Pick Five.

The Sunday program will also have a Pick Four with a guaranteed pool of $30,000 and starts on race 7. The Pick Four has a low takeout of 15 percent with a minimum wager of one dollar. The average payout is over $2,400 for a buck. Free program pages are now available at www.ustrotting.com courtesy of Track Master.

Balmoral Park races Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday with a post time of 7:10 Central. Guaranteed Pick Four pools are offered every night with a 15 percent takeout. The Saturday Pick Four paid $6,373 for a dollar and the Saturday handle was $1,380,892 for an average of $106,222 per race.

Free program pages are available at the USTA handicapping section.
