Balmoral Park celebrates the Kentucky Derby
Derby Day is a long and storied tradition. Elaborate hats, mint juleps, southern food and some of the most exciting horse racing moments history has served.
Balmoral Park, the nation’s premier Standardbred horse racing track, is hosting a variety of activities to celebrate the fastest 2 minutes in sports.
- Doors open early at 9 am
- The Balmoral Club Dining Room features a special All-You-Can-Eat “Derby Day Lunch Buffet” for $13.95 per person featuring: Fried Chicken; BBQ Ribs; Mac and Cheese; Potato Casserole; Baked Beans; Corn on the Cob
- Free drawings for prizes including cash betting vouchers and official Kentucky Derby merchandise
- 1st Floor Grandstand will be open at 1 pm with wagering, concessions and full bar services available
- Special $2 pricing for Budweiser and Bud Light bottles
The Kentucky Derby is scheduled for an approximate 5:15 pm post time. Balmoral Park will then feature its own full card of live racing with the first race starting at 7:10 pm.
