JACKPOT HIGH-5 CARRYOVER FOR SATURDAY, JUNE 2: $591,736

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (June 1, 2012) – The Jackpot High-5 was not hit for the 18th consecutive racing day, resulting in a Jackpot High-5 carryover pool of $591,736 for Saturday’s nine-race program at Arlington Park.

The Jackpot High-5 is a $1 wager that requires the bettor to select the first five finishers in exact order in the last race of the day. The Jackpot provision means that the entire pool pays out only when there is one and only one winning ticket sold that correctly selects the first five finishers in exact order.

In the event there are multiple tickets sold with the first five finishers in exact order, 50 percent of the daily Jackpot High-5 pool will be distributed to those ticket holders and 50 percent of the daily Jackpot High-5 pool will be carried over to the next scheduled Jackpot High-5 event and added to any existing carryover pool.

The takeout on the Jackpot High 5 is just 15 percent.

There is also a carryover pool in the 10-cent Pick 9 (starts race 1) of $9,700.

First post on Saturday is 1 pm CDT. Post time for the 11th race for the Jackpot High-5 will be at approximately 6:15 pm CDT.

Arlington Park – the Chicago area’s premier Thoroughbred racetrack located in Arlington Heights, Ill. – will run a 90-day meet in 2012 from Friday, May 4 through Sunday, Sept. 30. Arlington Park, whose parent company is Churchill Downs Incorporated (Nasdaq: CHDN), also operates 12 off-track, simulcast-wagering facilities – Trackside Arlington Park (Arlington Heights), Trackside Chicago, Trackside Quad City Downs (East Moline), Trackside Waukegan, Tavern on North featuring Trackside Villa Park, Shooters Bar & Grill at Don Carter Lanes featuring Trackside Rockford, Fat Sam’s Bar & Grill featuring Trackside OTB in Lockport, Stanley’s Ale House featuring Trackside OTB in South Elgin, Nicolino’s featuring Trackside OTB in McHenry, TADS Sports Bar & Grill featuring Trackside OTB in South Beloit, Salerno-Pincente Ristorante featuring Trackside OTB in Hodgkins and Sam’s Triple Crown featuring Trackside Orland Hills.
