ARLINGTON PARK ANNOUNCES DITKA PRODUCTS PARTNERSHIP

Arlington Park and “Da Coach”; “Da Coach” and Arlington Park. Now that’s a winning daily double!


ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (May 3, 2012) – Arlington Park is proud to announce a partnership with Coach Mike Ditka to serve and sell Mike Ditka products at Arlington Park during the 2012 race meet.

The product launch, featuring an appearance by “Da Coach” at Arlington Park, will be on Saturday, May 5 at Chicagoland’s Largest Kentucky Derby Party.

“Mike Ditka and his brand represent quality, the same kind of quality that we stand for here at Arlington Park. We are thrilled to be able to offer his products because we are always looking for new and unique items to make the customer experience at Arlington Park even better,” said Arlington Park General Manager Tony Petrillo.

Arlington Park will serve Mike Ditka beef sandwiches with Ditka jardiničre, Mike Ditka ribs, “Mike Ditka” Bloody Mary carts featuring the very popular Ditka Bloody Mary Mix, Ditka wines by Terlato International and Mike Ditka cigars. The Ditka wines will be the featured wines in the Million Room and Paddock Pub restaurant.

“I’m excited to be involved with Arlington Park and to be able to offer our products at one of the most beautiful race tracks in the world,” says Mike Ditka. “We are proud of the quality of our products and know that fans will enjoy trying them. I’ll see you at Arlington Park this summer.”

Arlington Park – the Chicago area’s premier Thoroughbred racetrack located in Arlington Heights, Ill. – will run a 90-day meet in 2012 from Friday, May 4 through Sunday, Sept. 30.
