RICH N FANCY SWEEPS INCREDIBLE FINALE SERIES

Rich N Fancy
Rich N Fancy and driver-trainer John Roberts cruised to an eight-length victory in Thursday's $9700 Incredible Finale Series final for 2&3 yo filly pacers at Maywood Park.
Coming off impressive back-to-back scores in the first two legs of the Incredible Finale Series, Kenneth Hughes' Rich N Fancy was bet like defeat was out of the question in Thursday’s $9,700 series final at Maywood Park. The filly had no problem delivering on that promise as she romped to an eight-length victory in 1:58.4.

Sent right to the front from post position six by driver-trainer John Roberts, the good-looking daughter of Richess Hanover-Anxious Blaze effortlessly grabbed control of the proceedings in the opening turn. Rolling through splits of 28.2, 59.1 and 1:27.2 the speedy filly opened up a four-length advantage heading into the final turn.

Continuing to widen her advantage over the seven other fillies in the race, Rich N Fancy was on cruise control the rest of the way as she paced under the wire with her third straight victory and her fourth win in six lifetime starts. Fox Valley Matinee (Todd Warren) followed the winner's every move while settling for the bridesmaid role while Pretty Place (Tom Insko) overcame a troubled trip to rally for the show dough.

Sent off as the 1-5 choice after her back-to-back scores in the first two legs of the series Rich N Fancy returned $2.60, $2.20 and $2.10 while increasing her career bankroll to $15,558.
