TWO ESTIMATED $20,000 CARRYOVER POOLS HIGHLIGHT MAYWOOD THURSDAY CARD

Maywood Park, with the support of the USTA Strategic Wagering initiative, will offer their first $10,000 guaranteed Pick 4 pool on Thursday, April 21. With the help of a $5,143 carryover, the guarantee will be surpassed with ease. We are estimating a final Pick 4 pool of $20,000.
The Maywood Pick 4 is contested on the final four races on the card. The wager will consist of races 8 thru 11 on Thursday night. The Pick 4 has a $1 minimum bet and as always is offered with a low 15 percent takeout.
On race 11 which is the final leg of the Pick 4, the High 5 offers the second carryover of the evening. The object of the High 5 is to select the top five finishers in that race. The wager is offered with a 10-cent minimum and the Thursday carryover is $4,767. The estimated final pool will also be $20,000.
Balmoral Park also offers guaranteed Pick 4 pools each weekend. With the temporary absence of The Meadowlands and the help of the USTA, the Balmoral Park guaranteed pools are the highest Pick 4 pools in the United States. Since the USTA initiative began on April 2, the Balmoral Pick 4 pools are averaging $36,617.
