Balmoral Park thanks U.S. Military Veterans with free “Vet Bets” on Sundays

Balmoral Park, Chicagoland’s premier harness horse racing facility, is honoring all U.S. Military veterans (both active and retired) this summer with “Vet Bets.”

Every Sunday beginning Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day, all veterans of the U.S. Military will receive a FREE $2 wager good for live racing, courtesy of Balmoral Park.

Veterans merely need to present their Military ID card at the Horseplayer Plus Rewards booth on the first floor inside Balmoral Park on Sundays to receive their FREE voucher.

“Balmoral Park is extremely proud of and thankful to the men and women who keep this country free. We wanted to do something to express our gratitude,” noted Marketing Manager Ken Churilla. “This isn’t a one-day / one-time deal. Just like they kept giving week in and week out, we want to do the same for them.”

About Balmoral Park: Located in Crete, IL just 12 miles south of 80/94; Balmoral Park has been one of the nation's premier horse racing facilities since 1926. Balmoral Park features live racing every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Admission and parking is always free.
