OFFICIAL CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS ROAD WATCH PARTY FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7 AT MR. D’S SPORTS BAR

Doors Open at 4:00 pm


ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (Sept. 29, 2011) – Make sure to catch all of the excitement of a Chicago Blackhawks hockey game at Mr. D’s Sports Bar, located inside Arlington Park Racetrack. The Chicago Blackhawks Official Road Watch Party will include all of the fun of a Blackhawks home game, including goal celebrations and intermission contests hosted by Blackhawks Public Address announcer and emcee for the event, Gene Honda.

In addition, the Blackhawks Road Watch crew will be giving away a Patrick Kane signed jersey; a Jonathan Toews signed puck, and two tickets to the Oct. 8 Home Opener vs. the Dallas Stars.

Fans can cheer the Blackhawks on for their first road game of the season at Mr. D’s, which will offer Blackhawks-themed food and drink specials all night long. The Road Watch specials include: $.50 cent hot wings, $2 Domestic Drafts, $3 Domestic Bottles, Vodka and Rum specials, the Madhouse Burger and more!

The Official Blackhawks Road Watch will showcase the Blackhawks matchup against the Dallas Stars, with a puck drop at 7:30 pm. Fans can arrive when doors open at 4:00 pm to secure a great view of the game from one of many HD TVs located throughout Mr. D’s Sports Bar.

In addition to the Oct. 7 Official Blackhawks Road Watch, Mr. D.’s Sports bar will continue to be open every Friday from 4 pm until 11 pm and each Saturday and Sunday from 10 am until 7 pm.

Arlington Park – the Chicago area’s premier Thoroughbred racetrack located in Arlington Heights, Ill. – will run an 90-day meet in 2012 from May 1 through Sept. 30.
