Springfield harness racing qualifiers scheduled for 4/24 have been cancelled
Springfield, IL (April 23, 2010) – The qualifiers originally scheduled for 10 am, Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, Springfield, IL have been cancelled. Deteriorating track conditions, because of inclement weather from a storm front that will remain in the Springfield area over the weekend, caused the cancellation.
Qualifiers in May and June will be raced as scheduled.
All dates are open to the public.
Qualifier schedule for May and June
Qualifiers are also scheduled for each Saturday in May (1, 8, 15, and 22) with post times of 10 am at the Illinois State Fairgrounds.
Qualifiers will also be held at the DuQuoin Summer Preview, DuQuoin State Fairgrounds, DuQuoin, IL, Saturday, May 29, and the Springfield Summer Preview, Illinois State Fairgrounds, Saturday, June, 5.
The Entry Box closes at 10 am on Friday before each scheduled Qualifier date.
Additional Qualifiers may be added, and all dates are subject to number of horses entered and track conditions.
