Wolfson Pair Heads Field in Sixty Sails

STICKNEY, IL – Trainer Martin Wolfson has both the favorite and the second choice entered in the 34th running of the Grade III $200,000 Sixty Sails Handicap at Hawthorne on Saturday. The race will go as the eighth race of a nine-race card with a post time of 4:54 pm.

The 1 1/8 miles race is for fillies and mares, three-years-old and up, on the conventional dirt track and has attracted eight entrants.

The morning line choice at 5-2 in the Sixty Sails is Jessica Is Back. Owned by Farnsworth Stables LLC, the six-year-old mare comes off a runaway victory in the Ocala Stakes in her last. Her prior start was a solid second behind Sweet Repent in the $300,000 Sunshine Millions Distaff. This will be her third start of the year. Elvis Trujillo comes in to ride. Jessica Is Back drew post three.

Second choice, trained by Wolfson as well, is Miss Singhsix (Ire). Breaking right next to Jessica Is Back in post four, Miss Singhsix (Ire) is a multiple Graded Stakes placed runner, coming off a good third in the Grade III Rampart in her last. Owned by Team Valor International, Miss Singhsix (Ire) is 7-2 in the morning line and will be ridden by Eddie Razo, Jr.

Trainer Todd Pletcher sends out Life At Ten as the five-year-old mare makes her first Graded Stakes effort. Owned by Cynthia DeBartolo, Life At Ten comes in off a pair of stakes scores at Aqueduct and she has only improved the longer she goes. Newcomer to Chicago, jockey Michael Baze gets the call. Life at Ten figures to be part of the pace. She was pegged at 9-2 in the morning line.

The field for the Grade III $200,000 Sixty Sails Handicap:

No. Horse Jockey Trainer Odds
1 Never Retreat J. Graham R. Scherer 5-1
2 Starship Angel A.R. Napravnik K. McLaughlin 6-1
