Rachel Alexandra halter donated for silent auction

The I.T.B.O.F./I.T.H.A.Annual Awards Dinner / Silent Auction honoring the Champions of Illinois will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, Feb 21, 2010 at Hawthorne Racecourse. This year Dr. Scott Hopper from the renowned Rood and Riddle, Lexington, KY has been invited as the featured speaker. Dr. Hopper is the resident expert in "Lameness and Stem Cell Medicine."

The silent auction will feature a halter worn by Rachel Alexandra, donated by Steve Assmussen.

In addition to a stellar speaker the ITBOF will once again have great auction items for you to bid on, delicious cuisine, and enjoyable camaraderie with fellow horse enthusiasts. Get your reservation and come join in the festivities honoring the 2009 Illinois Champions and their connections.

For tickets and more information contact Sharyn, ITBOF office at Hawthorne, 1-708-652-1561 or Mary, ITBOF office at Fairmount Park, 1-618-344-3427.
