SATURDAY’S SPRINGFIELD CARD CANCELED

Due to heavy overnight rains in the Springfield area which turned the one-mile racing oval into a sea of mud, Saturday’s (Aug. 14) 11-race program at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield, IL has been canceled because of the sloppy conditions.

With Sunday, Aug. 15 scheduled to have been a “dark day” the 11-race card will now be contested on that date. Post time for the 11-race program will be noon (central).
