LONGSHOTS BAR AND GRILL AT ARLINGTON PARK TO REMAIN OPEN SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS DURING OFF-SEASON

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (Sept. 30, 2010) – Longshots Sports Bar and Grill, a popular destination at Arlington Park during the just completed live meet, will remain open Saturdays and Sundays during the off-season for fans to watch professional and college football as well as watch and wager on top racing from around the country.

Longshots will open each Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and offer free admission plus food and beverage specials including $15 bucket-of-beer specials, $3 Miller Lite drafts, 35-cent chicken wings and more. Guests should enter the Arlington Park grounds via the Gate 1 Wilke Road entrance and enter the facility through the Grandstand (east) entrance.

Fans will be able to keep up with all the sports and racing action on numerous large screen HD television monitors. There will be live mutuel clerks as well as self-service machines available for wagering on races from Hawthorne Race Course as well as other top tracks from around the country as horses prepare for the Breeders’ Cup World Championships to be run at Churchill Downs Nov. 5-6.
