ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (July 8, 2010) – Chicago Blackhawks fans are invited to Longshots Sports Bar at Arlington Park racetrack on Friday, July 23, to “Re-Live the Dream.” Blackhawks announcers Pat Foley and Eddie Olczyk will host this special after races event that will include an autograph session and question and answer session interspersed with the tandem showing highlights from the Game 6 overtime victory over the Philadelphia Flyers that gave the Blackhawks their first Stanley Cup Championship since 1961.
The program will run from approximately 7 pm until 10 pm. Tickets, which will go on sale Thursday, July 8, and are limited to 200, will cost $15 apiece. However if you purchase in advance online at www.arlingtonpark.com, tickets will cost just $12 and include complimentary admission to the track for the day as well as Daily Racing Guide for that day’s races, which starts at 3 pm, and there will be live music by BBI in the Park area.
Foley and Olczyk will be available to greet fans and sign autographs. Each ticket holder is allowed to bring one personal item to be signed. Arlington Park will provide a limited number of 5’ x 7” photos for ticketholders who don’t have their own item to be signed. However, in order to ensure that everyone has a chance to get through the autograph line during the allotted time the announcers will not be able to pose for photos with individuals.
During the event, Longshots will offer $2 Miller Lite or MGD drafts plus a limited food menu available for purchase. Longshots Sports Bar is located on the east end of the Apron level of the grandstand. Guests should enter through the Wilke Road gate and enter the track via the Grandstand entrance.
