ARLINGTON PARK FAMILY DAYS, JUNIOR JOCKEY CLUB RETURN FOR 2010 SEASON

Popular Sunday Promotion Includes Weekly Themes and Behind the Scenes Looks

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (April 13, 2010) – One of the best ways for a family to spend a Sunday afternoon together is at Arlington Park. Every Sunday from May 24 through Sept. 6 is a Family Day, which returns for the 2010 season with themes that include partnerships with area sports teams including the Schaumburg Flyers and the Chicago Fire; area attractions such as Legoland, DuPage Children Museum and Brookfield Zoo; and two “family friendly” concerts.

Also on selected Sundays, children can sign up and participate in Arlington Park’s Junior Jockey Club, which is open to kids 12 and under. The Junior Jockey Club, which is free to join, educates children about Arlington Park and horse racing through hands-on activities and giveaways.
