RECORD PICK 5 POOL EXPECTED WEDNESDAY

The stakes will be high on Wednesday, April 22 at Balmoral Park as a record Pick 5 pool is anticipated. For the third straight night no one was able to correctly select the winners of races five through nine. Thus a carryover of $56,739.84 will be added to Wednesday’s Pick 5 pool. Mutuel manager Bill Mudro is estimating that the jackpot for Wednesday night could reach a whopping $225,000, which would be a new record at the Crete plant.

Post time for the opener on Wednesday night is 7:20 pm (central). The Pick 5, which once again begins with race five on the card, is expected to kick off around 8:35 pm (central).
