Contact: David Zenner ALVARADO, GRAHAM TAKE JOCKEY’S RACE DOWN TO FINAL DAYARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (Sept. 26, 2009) – After 97 days of racing at Arlington Park, jockeys Junior Alvarado and James Graham take the battle for leading rider down to the meet’s last Sunday, Sept. 27. With three victories on Saturday to Alvarado’s one, Graham cut Alvarado’s advantage to two (108-106) entering the meet’s final card. On Sunday, Alvarado is named to ride five horses with Graham slated to guide seven pending scratches and other program changes. A race-by-race look at their Sunday mounts follows:
Arlington Park – the Chicago area’s premier Thoroughbred racetrack located in Arlington Heights, Ill. – will run a 91-day meet in 2010 from Thursday, April 29 through Sunday, Sept. 26.
